8th Anniversary Celebration, Wuling Commits To Presenting Best Products And Services In Indonesia

JAKARTA - Wuling Motors (Wuling) celebrates its 8th anniversary in Indonesia at its factory located in Cikarang, West Java with the spirit of 'Building in Indonesia, for you'.

In celebrating this important day, Wuing presented various new achievements, as well as giving appreciation to many sectors that have contributed to Wuling's journey to this day.

President Director of Wuling Motors Tang Wensheng, said, in the eight years of this journey, all achievements cannot be separated from the hard work and dedication of all employees, attention and support from the Indonesian government, and also trust from more than 160 thousand users and partners.

"For that, on behalf of Wuling Indonesia, I would like to express my highest respect and deepest gratitude to all of you," said Tang, when met in Cikarang, West Java, Friday, July 11.

Wuling's history of eight years of travel

Seeing the flashback of Wuling's journey, it began when the inauguration of the factory facility in July 2017. During this period, Wuling has grown into one of the important players in the national automotive industry because it has built 60 hectares of production facilities in Cikarang which are supported by 1,000 local talents in all areas of operation, in addition to a strong local supply chain system as well as a comprehensive sales and sale and service ecosystem.

Until now, Wuling has produced more than 167,000 cars and became the first Chinese automotive manufacturer to have an assembly of electric car batteries locally. For the full selling capacity, Wuling is supported by 150 dealers throughout Indonesia to increase people's accessibility to products and services.

Wuling in total already has a relatively complete product, where there are nine vehicles that include 4 ICE-based products, 1 hybrid product, and 4 EV products. All these products are produced in Indonesia and to answer the needs of diverse community mobility.

If accumulated until the middle of this year, Wuling has been trusted by more than 160,000 Indonesian consumers and is also in demand by 18 countries with right wheels, which, when calculated, there have been more than 6,800 exported vehicles.

Tang Wensheng, added that Wuling will continue to adhere to the principles "Builded in Indonesia, for you" and is committed to providing better products and services for users.
