Re-voting, Papuan KPU Will Distribute Logistics Starting July 28

The General Election Commission (KPU) of Papua has scheduled the distribution of re-voting logistics (PSU) for the Papua Regional Head Election to be held on July 28, 2025.

"For areas that are difficult to reach, logistics distribution is carried out earlier on July 28, so that no one is too late to receive logistics," said Papua KPU chairman Diana Simbiak quoting Antara.

He said, in addition to distributing earlier, the Papuan KPU would also coordinate with the Jayapura BMKG to find out weather forecasts.

This must be done considering that there are some areas that are quite difficult to reach.

"Hopefully the distribution of PSU logistics can be carried out according to plan so that it can take place according to schedule, namely on August 6," hoped Chairman of the Papua KPU Diana Simbiak.

Admittedly, currently logistics for PSUs are already in KPU warehouses in nine districts/cities and are already in the stage of putting them in ballot boxes.

"The Papuan Pilkada PSU was attended by two pairs of candidates for governor and deputy governor, namely candidate pair number one Benhur Tommy Mano-Constan Karma and candidate pair number two candidate pair Matthew Fakhiri-Aryoko Rumaropen," said Papua KPU chairman Diana Simbiak.
