One People Died As A Result Of A Fire On The 4th Floor Of The Klender Flat

JAKARTA - Klender Flats located on Jalan Delima Raya, Malaka Sari Village, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, were scorched by fire on Saturday, July 12, early in the morning.

"The object caught fire on the 4th floor of the Klender Flats," said East Jakarta Firefighters.

In the fire incident, one person was reported to have died from being trapped in the fire.

"There is 1 victim who died, identity and gender are still collecting data," he said.

Meanwhile, in order to carry out the fire extinguishing process, 13 fire engines were deployed to the fire site. A total of 65 personnel were deployed.

"The fire has been cooling since 02.02 WIB until now. The cause of the fire is not yet known," he said.

Currently, East Jakarta firefighters are still struggling to carry out extinguishing operations at the scene. Meanwhile, the case is under investigation by the Duren Sawit Police.
