SEA V League 2025 Results: Indonesia Silences Cambodia 3-0

JAKARTA The Indonesian Volleyball National Team (Timnas) managed to secure their first victory in the 2025 SEA V League by beating Cambodia.

The squad from coach Jiang Jie stopped Cambodia's resistance with a landslide score of 3-0 (25-23, 25-18, and 25-23) on Friday, July 11, 2025, at the Candon City Arena, Candon, Ilokos Sur, Philippines.

Victory over Cambodia is an important momentum to keep Indonesia's hopes of competing at the top of the standings.

Previously in the first match against Thailand, the Garuda Squad was forced to lose with a score of 1-3 (22-25, 25-21, 25-22, and 25-20).

The next two matches that will also be held in the Philippines will determine Indonesia's position in the final standings of the first round before entering the second leg which takes place in Jakarta.

In the match against Cambodia, Indonesia appeared without the spiker Doni Haryoni. He was absent because he was still in the recovery stage and was not ideal to appear.

Indonesia will next face Vietnam in the third match which will take place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, and host the Philippines on Sunday, July 13, 2025.

Currently Indonesia sits in third place in the standings with a collection of three points. The Garuda squad is behind Thailand and Vietnam which both collect six points.
