Strengthening Capital Market Infrastructure, KSEI Records A Spike In Activities And The Value Of Corporate Actions In Semester I-2025

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) Samsul Hidayat emphasized that issuers play a central role in maintaining stability and encouraging national economic growth.

"In line with the vision to strengthen Indonesia's capital market infrastructure, KSEI consistently carries out its commitment to providing sustainable innovation in order to create a more efficient, transparent, and inclusive capital market ecosystem, including to provide convenience to issuers," he said in his statement, Friday, July 11.

In terms of operations, KSEI recorded an increase in the number of corporate actions by 8.07 percent on an annual basis, with a total of 4,570 activities by the end of June 2025.

Meanwhile, the value of corporate actions distributed through KSEI during the first semester of 2025 reached Rp273 trillion, an increase of 10 percent compared to the end of 2024.

The increase also occurred in the use of electronic services where the number of issuers using the eASY platform. KSEI rose 3.1 percent to 961 issuers, while the number of investors accessing this service grew significantly by 18 percent to reach 56 thousand users compared to 2024.

Samsul said, with the support carried out by his party, it can also be seen in terms of infrastructure readiness, where KSEI has several main systems, one of which is The Central Depository and Book-Entry Settlement System (C-BEST) which is currently capable of carrying out instructions at a speed of 150 thousand transactions per minute.

With this capacity, he said KSEI had carried out 246.9 million instructions during 2025, with an average daily instruction of 2.3 million and until the end of June 2025, the number of effects stored in C-BEST amounted to 3,297 with an effect value of IDR 8,308 trillion.

In addition to C-BEST, there is also an Integrated Investment Management System (S-INVEST) system that runs mutual fund transactions with an average subscription and redemption of 114 thousand per day and as of the end of June 2025, the total investment product in S-INVEST is 2,250 with an Asset Under Management of IDR 811 trillion.
