Great Wall Motor Reaches Top 20 Of China's Global BrandZ 2025 Version

JAKARTA - Great Wall Motor (GWM) received positive results globally by ranking 20th on the list of the 2025 BrandZ Top 50 Chinese Global Brand Builders Kantar.

This is a brilliant achievement from this Chinese manufacturer by going up two positions compared to the previous year, as well as marking the success of GWM's global expansion strategy and its strengthening in the global automotive industry.

Strategy & Marketing Director of GWM Indonesia, Martina Danuningrat said the achievement was a spirit for companies to continue to provide experiences that differ from global standards that have been set.

The entry of GWM in the top 20 Kantar BrandZ 2025 is a reflection of the strength of the global vision and strategy that is carried out consistently. In Indonesia, this is a spirit for us to continue to present brand experience and services that are not only equivalent to global standards, but also answer the needs and aspirations of local consumers," Martina said in a statement received, Friday, July 11.

This award is a form of cooperation between the leading brand valuation agency in the world, Google and Kantar. The event assessed the advancement of globalization of a number of brands from China.

Kantar BrandZ itself is known as one of the world's most credible brand evaluation systems, with an assessment based on consumer research, market data, and financial performance or often referred to as 'Oscar' for a number of brands in the world.

The list of 2025 BrandZ Top 50 Chinese Global Brand Builders is not limited to the automotive sector but also various other industries including technology, e-commerce, consumer electronics, to digital services. The assessment coverage is also very broad, ranging from brand power in the global market, brand awareness, consumer loyalty, to overall business performance.

Thus, this is not an ordinary achievement for a manufacturer as big as GWM in the midst of the largest and most famous brands in the world.
