Regarding Broken Legs, Jamal Musiala: There's Nothing To Blame
JAKARTA - Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala spoke about the broken leg he experienced. The incident he experienced while defending the team against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the quarter-finals of the 2025 Club World Cup.
At the end of the first half, Musiala was forced to finish the match early by leaving the field while on a stretcher. This situation occurred after he collided with Gianluigi Donnarumma which caused a broken leg.
After the examination, it was discovered that Musiala's left leg fibula had a fracture and there was an ankle dislocation. Now Musiala has undergone surgery in Munich and is currently undergoing a recovery period that will take several months.
"The operation went very well, I am in good condition. I want to say there is nothing to blame for this (leg fracture)."
"I think this kind of situation is common. Now, I want to continue my time to increase my strength and positivity," said Musiala in an upload on Instagram quoted Friday, July 11, 2025.

Previously, Donnarumma, who collided with Musiala, was shaken and seemed to cry seeing the condition of the former England U-21 National Team player.
Musiala's condition also made his teammates so emotional. Manuel Neuer criticized Donnarumma, who was considered a person to be responsible for Musiala's injury.
Meanwhile, Beyern Munich coach, Vincent Kompany, expressed disappointment and was so angry after the incident that happened to his foster children.
