Usyk Signs Two More Fights Before Retiring
JAKARTA Oleksandr Usyk hinted at retiring from boxing after he completed the last two fights, one of which was against Daniel Dubois in the middle of this month.
The two names are scheduled to clash on July 19, 2025 at Wembley Stadium, London, England. They will fight for the undisputed status of world champions.
"(I'm still boxing) because Jesus gave me a chance and I took it. Now my goal is to become the undisputed three-time champion," he said.
Usyk from Ukraine is currently a WBA, WBC, and WBO heavyweight belt holder. On the other hand, Dubois came to the match with the status of world heavyweight champion IBF.

Previously, Usyk had once become the undisputed world champion after defeating another British champion, Tyson Fury, in May 2024.
So, if he can beat Dubois then he becomes an undisputed world champion twice. Then, if there is a rematch or fight another fighter then he can win the same status on three occasions.
"Listen, I love boxing, train hard. I think these are my last two fights, with Dubois and then, I don't know who. I will speak to you after this fight," he said.
Usyk has a record that he has not lost in 23 fights. Of these, 14 clashes have won knockout (KO).
One of these victories was against Dubois in August 2023. So, this is Dubois' golden opportunity to avenge his defeat.
