Wanti-wanti Don't Burden Uniforms To Students, DPRK Threatens School Sanctions In Biak Papua Violate SPMB Rules
JAKARTA - Commission III of the Biak Numfor DPRK in Papua asked the Head of the Kamaruddin Education Office to impose sanctions on schools that do not comply with instructions in the selection of new student admissions (SPMB) for the 2025/2026 school year.
"This meeting is a follow-up to the findings of field visits and reports from residents to Commission III of the DPRK regarding the collection of new student admissions for the 2025/2026 school year," said Deputy Chairman 2 of the DPRK Adrianus Mambobo, Friday, July 11, quoted by Antara.
He said the findings of Commission III in the field had been submitted directly to the Head of the Kamaruddin Education Office regarding the existence of schools that still charge school uniforms payments to students.
Meanwhile, the other findings of the DPRK, continued Mambobo, were school principals who did not carry out the instructions of the Head of Education Office because they withdrew the SPMB registration money for the completeness of uniforms or others.
"There have been instructions from the head of the service, but there are still school principals in the education unit who do not comply, so in this meeting we have asked," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Biak Education Office, Kamaruddin, emphasized that in general the implementation of the SPMB for the 2025/2026 lesson year in Biak Numfor Regency went well without any obstacles.

He admitted that 2025 is the second time the Biak Numfor Education Office together with Jayapura City has imposed online admissions of new students through one door of registration.
"From the results of the selection, all schools that enforce online registration have received the results of the graduation of new students for the 2025/2026 study year," he said.
It's just that the findings of Commission III DPRK Team, he said, still found educational units charging uniforms to purchase uniforms to new students.
"The difference in the price worn by uniforms is more expensive in the market or selling in stores, yes, this is a note from the Education Office," he said.
The DPRK hearing with the Head of the Education Office Kamaruddin was chaired by the Chairman of Commission III of the DPRK Makka Arief and lasted for two hours.
