38,414 People Arrive At Bakauheni Lampung Ahead Of Prohibition Of Homecoming
BANDAR LAMPUNG - PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry, Bakauheni Lampung Branch recorded that 38,414 travelers arrived from Merak Banten Port ahead of the homecoming ban starting Thursday, May 6.
Public Relations of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry, Bakauheni Lampung Branch, Syaifullahil Maslul, said that of the 38,414 passengers, 35,758 people were passengers in vehicles, both two-wheeled, four-wheeled and buses.
"For the pedestrian travelers, we recorded 2,656 people who disembarked at Bakauheni Port," he said as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, May 5.
Syaifullahil said that two days before the 2021 Lebaran homecoming ban, there was indeed an increase in passengers compared to previous days, although this was still considered normal.
On Saturday, May 1, the number of travelers who disembarked at Bakauheni Port, both pedestrians and in vehicles, totaled 38,201 people, with details of 35,901 passengers and 2,300 pedestrians.
Then, on Sunday, May 2, there were 34,338 travelers arriving at Bakauheni, of which 32,072 were passengers in vehicles and 2,266 were pedestrians.
Meanwhile, on Monday, May 3, there were 37, 327 passengers in the vehicle totaling 34,989 and 2,248 were pedestrians.
Meanwhile, the travelers departing from Bakauheni Port to Merak Port experienced a decrease compared to the previous days, namely 17,376 divided from 716 pedestrians and 16,660 vehicles.
Previously on Saturday, May 1, the number of passengers who boarded from Bakauheni to Merak reached 21,429 people, then Sunday there were 24,618 travelers, and Monday there were 22,203 passengers.
