JCI Is Predicted To Crawl Again, Check Out Stock Recommendations
JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) is predicted to continue to creep up in today's trading, Friday 11 July. Phintraco Sekuritas in his research said the JCI today will move in the resistance range of 7,080, pivot 7,050, and support 7,000
Phintraco Sekuritas explained that the JCI closed up 0.89 percent to the level of 7,005.37 on Thursday. Strengthening the global stock exchange index, the euphoria of the listing of new stocks, news of the issuer's corporate action, and the rebound of several stocks with large capitalization became factors that encouraged the strengthening of the JCI yesterday.
Technically, Phintraco Sekuritas said, the JCI had penetrated the MA20 and the MACD indicator indicated forming a golden cross.
"Thus, the JCI today has the potential to continue strengthening at the level of 7,050-7,080, if it persists above the level of 7,000," wrote Phintraco Sekuritas.
From England, Phintraco Sekuritas said, today PDB May 2025 will be released which is estimated to grow 0.1 percent MoM from a contraction of 0.3 percent MoM in April 2025.
Meanwhile, China on Saturday, July 12, will release June's export data which is estimated to grow 5.5 percent YoY from 4.8 percent in May 2025 and import data in June 2025 which is estimated to increase 2.5 percent YoY from 3.4 percent YoY in May 2025.
Phintraco Sekuritas added that copper prices rose near an all-time high on Thursday, July 10, after President Trump confirmed that a 50 percent copper import rate would be effective on August 1, 2025.

"This is allegedly due to reduced copper stocks in LME because traders have moved copper to the US since the threat of tariffs to basic metals began in February 2025," said Phintraco Sekuritas.
Nevertheless, Phintraco Sekuritas assessed that the increase in copper prices had not been followed by a significant increase in the share price of copper producers in the domestic area.
The stocks recommended by Phintraco Sekuritas today are all banks, namely BBRI, BBNI, BMRI, BRIS.
