2025 President's Cup Results: Defeat Dewa United 2-1, Port FC To Final
JAKARTA - Port FC managed to advance to the final round of the 2025 President's Cup. This result was achieved after the Thai team won 2-1 over Dewa United.
The two teams met on the second matchday of Group B of the 2025 Presidential Cup, Thursday, July 10, 2025, afternoon WIB. In the match which was held at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung Regency, Dewa United actually opened the scoring first.
The situation occurred when the game had only been running for 10 minutes. Stefano Lilipaly successfully broke into the Port FC goal.
The bright spot began when Asnawi Mangkualam made a mistake in controlling the ball so that Taisei Marukawa could take it.
The ball was immediately sent to Lilipaly who managed to beat goalkeeper Michael Falkesgaard in a one-on-one situation.

After being left behind at the beginning of the game, Port FC's efforts to catch up were quite intense. However, the effort was not easy because the new results were seen during the first half injury time.
The equalizer goal was created by Matheus Antonio who successfully shook Dewa United's goal net. He grabbed a pass from Bordin Phala which led to the right side of Dewa United's defense.
The 1-1 score lasted until the break of the first half.
Entering the second half, the two teams again appeared with the same big ambition. However, again the fighting power of the two teams made the match run tough.
A new winning goal was created before the game ended. This time, the substitute for Port FC, Irfan Fandi, headed the ball from a corner kick that Worachit Kanitsribumphen released.
The 2-1 score for Port FC is the final result of the match. This note also ensures that Port FC advances to the 2025 President's Cup final.
Dewa United's victory made Port FC qualify as winners of Group B with six points.
Meanwhile, Dewa United finished second with a sau point. Egy Maulana Vikri will advance to third place because he is ahead of Persib Bandung's goal difference.
