NTB Police Receives Bareskrim Instructions Regarding The Death Case Of Brigadier Nurhadi

MATARAM - The West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police received instructions from the Directorate of General Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency regarding the case of the death of Brigadier Nurhadi (MN) involving three suspects, two of whom were former police officers.

"So, today we just got the results of assistance and supervision (Dittipidum Bareskrim Polri), that's why we need a process to be followed up immediately," said Director of General Criminal Investigation of the NTB Police Kombes Syarif Hidayat after meeting with the National Police's Dittipidum Bareskrim team at the NTB Police Headquarters, Mataram, Thursday, July 10.

Regarding the material that became the clue, it was not conveyed in full. Syarif said there were several emphasiss that needed to be explored from the results of the assistance and supervision of the National Police's Dittipidum Team.

"So, from this assistance and supervision, there are several emphasiss that we need to follow up on, both witness statements, and evidence related to the incident," he said.

Syarif revealed that in a meeting with a team led by the Director of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro, his party had fully explained the entire series of investigations until the files were completed and had been followed up to the delegation stage to the research prosecutor.

He stated that the material presented was related to the fulfillment of the criminal elements of the three suspects, starting from the construction of cases, witness statements, and other evidence.

"So, what is the result of this assistance and supervision, we just need to investigate. Hopefully this will make everything clear later," he said.

The three suspects in this case are two former NTB Police officers with the initials Kompol Y and Ipda HC, as well as another suspect, a woman with the initials M who was also at the scene.

The three suspects have now been detained at the Directorate of Detention and Evidence of the NTB Police.

Investigators have found two pieces of evidence that corroborate the criminal acts of the three suspects related to allegations of abuse and negligence that resulted in the loss of the lives of others.

The evidence was obtained from the results of the examination of 18 witnesses and a number of experts. One of the things that corroborated the analysis of the forensic team which concluded that Brigadier MN died as a result of being strangled.

The analysis was obtained by a forensic team based on the results of an autopsy from the exhumation of the tomb of Brigadier MN in the Narmada area, West Lombok Regency.

With these results, investigators in the case file apply the suspicion of Article 351 paragraph (3) and/or Article 359 in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code.
