Nova Eliza Struggles With Narrow Space For Mama's Film: Message From Hell
JAKARTA - Nova Eliza was asked to be the main character in Azhar Kinoi Lubis' latest film, Mama: Message from Hell. This film is an adaptation of the content of the story of the same name from YouTuber Nessie Judge.
Nova Eliza plays Mama Sari, a reliable tarot reader who has a conflict with her daughter Putri (Cillista Arum). One day, Putri received a message from Mama Sari who was known to have died.
As the first time he read the tarot, Nova Eliza told of her efforts to explore her latest role. He also learned several tarot playing techniques to look convincing as a character.

Everything was taught and he was on standby on set when we started taking," Nova Eliza said in a roundtable session in South Jakarta on Thursday, July 10.
"Previously, I've (stained) only for fun, not for 100% believe, just consider it for fun. What's good is we keep it, the bad doesn't need to be heard," Nova said again.
He himself admitted that he had played and listened to the tarot, but only as a personal need. Moreover, from the tarot, Nova Eliza also struggles to face her fear in a narrow space for this film.

"I think as a player I will be able to separate real life when it enters the character of Mama Sari. In practice, it turns out that it is still attached, from the side of the scary set, from clothes, it has raised the level of fear," Nova explained again.
"When acting, it was also added that made the atmosphere even more scary, it was emotional. That's why I played and the grave was narrow, and I had a phobia of small rooms, so I had a panic attack when I entered a grave the size of a human, and everything was real," Nova said again.
Callista Arum, who plays the child of Mama Sari, has many scenes with Nova Eliza. Not infrequently, they support each other so that filming this film is very healthy and supportive.
"I understand better what it feels like to need space, and everyone is in the set to respect each other," said Callista Arum.
Mama's film: Message from Hell tells the story of Putri (Cillista Arum) who experiences terror after being left by her mother. He begins to find out what the meaning of the tarot card he sees and solves the terror of all these incidents.
Mama's film: Messages from Hell will hit Indonesian cinemas starting September 11, 2025.
