BTN Performs Business Expansion And Housing Financing In NTT

KUPANG, NTT - BTN Remi opened a new building for the Kupang Branch Office, Wednesday, July 9 which is located on Jalan El Tari 1, Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

This marks BTN's commitment to expanding banking services and its role in encouraging the financing of people's housing in Eastern Indonesia.

According to the President Director of BTN Nixon LP Napitupulu, until now the number of housing needs in NTT has reached 90,500 units.

"The relocation of BTN Kupang Branch Offices to this new location is a symbol of our hope and optimism for economic growth and housing in NTT. With the potential for a high housing sector and supported by the National Housing program, BTN Kupang is expected to be able to accelerate the distribution of mortgages and bring banking services closer to the community," said BTN President Director Nixon LP Napitupulu through a press release received by VOI Editor, Wednesday, July 9.

NTT Governor Emanuel Melkiades Laka Lena expressed his appreciation for the presence of the new face of the Kupang Branch Office BTN.

"The NTT Provincial Government welcomes Bank BTN's strategic steps that continue to expand its service reach to remote areas. The need for decent housing for the people of NTT is very large, and we believe the synergy of local governments and the banking sector will support the government's efforts to improve the economy in NTT," said Emanuel.

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of NTT Province, there is a potential for housing needs in NTT. Meanwhile, as of March 2025, BTN Kupang recorded a positive performance with total assets of IDR 813 billion or grew by 3.94 percent on an annual basis.
