Pleidoi Hasto Kristiyanto's Trial Completed, Lawyer: Struggle For Justice

PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto underwent a hearing with the agenda of reading the plea at the Corruption Court, Central Jakarta, Thursday, July 10.

Hasto Kristiyanto was charged with a bribery case related to the interim replacement of members of the Indonesian House of Representatives and the obstruction of the investigation in the Harun Masiku case.

Hasto Kristiyanto was then sentenced to seven years in prison. The trial which took place openly listened to the reading of Hasto Kristiyanto's memorandum of defense.

After the trial, Hasto Kristiyanto's lawyer, Todung Mulya Lubis, said the plea described Hasto's view of the evidence presented at the trial regarding the law enforcement obstruction indictment.
