Pedro Acosta, Rossi's Key To Preventing Marquez From Recording
JAKARTA - The young racer Pedro Acosta is considered the only key for Valentino Rossi to prevent his rival Marc Marquez from getting the 10th world title.
Marquez is currently near the 2025 MotoGP world title after making an impressive appearance since the start of the season. If he succeeds in becoming a world champion, he will equal Rossi's nine titles.
Senior MotoGP manager Carlo Pernat claims that Rossi is ready to sign Pedrodeca to the VR46 Racing Team so that Marquez's chances of overtaking his record can be blocked.
"PedroACKa will definitely (do anything) for Ducati. Of course both Ducati and Valentino Rossi will welcome him with open arms," said Penat, as reported by Crash.
Pedro Acosta has recently been linked with a move to Rossi's Pertamina Enduro VR46 team. The Italian legend is said to be very interested in the Spaniard.

"I think Vale sees Pedrodeca as he sees Marc Marquez, a young rider who will prevent the champion (Marquez) from reaching his 10th world title," Pernat said.
Rossi's plan to get Pedro is likely to face tough challenges. The reason is, KTM as the team that owns Asko will try to fence off their rider until 2027.
"Kontrak (Acosta) bukan kontrak yang sulit untuk diputuskan. Kita harus mengerti apa yang akan dilakukan KTM dalam waktu dekat karena situasinya cukup rumit," ujar Pernat.
Rossi recorded seven primary classes for the 500cc/MotoGP Grand Prix, one 125cc, and one 250cc title. On the other hand, Marquez collected six MotoGP world titles, one 125cc, and one Moto2 title.
Marquez's chance to match Rossi is wide open because he is dominant this season and sits at the top of the standings. This dominance is likely to continue into next season.
If next season succeeds in winning another title, Marquez automatically passes Rossi. Pedro Asko is also considered the only potential that can prevent that opportunity.
It is common knowledge that Rossi and Marquez's relationship has not been harmonious until now. Therefore, Rossi certainly does not want to see his rivals go beyond his record.
