16-year-old Madrasah Student From Kudus Found Dead At Home, Police Immediately Move

KUDUS - Hanifah Khoiron Nisa (16), a grade XI student at a Madrasah Aliah was found dead in her house, Kedungdowo Village, Kaliwungu District, Kudus Regency, Central Java.

From the testimony of a witness named Sundari (45) who is also the victim's neighbor, the case of Hanifah's death was first discovered by her sister, Dafa, who was still in grade 5 at the Madrasa Ibtidaiah at around 10.00 WIB.

"Her sister, who just came home from school, found out about her sister's condition and then screamed. Knowing this, I called my husband to check on Hanifah's condition", Sundari said as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, May 5.

Sundari's husband then rushed over and saw the condition of the victim. Initially, it was thought that Hanifah was simply fainting due to fasting. It turned out that after being checked, her heartbeat didn't move anymore or she died.

Information that when the victim's hand was found had an incision, Sundari did not want to speculate. This is because her husband only saw the victim's clothes were dirty. In the location of the incident, the kitchen of the victim's house was wet.

Upon this finding, the Police of Kudus, Central Java immediately moved and conducted an on-site investigation. It is suspected that the victim died unnaturally.

Head of Investigation Police Kudus AKP Agustinus David said that his party was still collecting evidence. He could not yet conclude the cause of Hanifah's death whether it was natural or there were other causes.

At this time, he said, Hanifah's body was taken to the Loekmono Hadi Kudus Regional Hospital for investigation, including the possibility of an autopsy.
