Homecoming Is Prohibited Tomorrow, The Passengers Of The Nusantara Kendari Harbor Ship Will Open Up

KENDARI - Ship passengers at Nusantara Kendari Port which will sail the route from Kendari City-Raha, Muna Regency-Baubau City, Southeast Sulawesi are booming a day before the Eid homecoming ban.

Prospective ship passengers crowded the Nusantara port area from the entrance to the ticket booth. They are willing to jostle to get boat tickets.

This early homecoming is carried out by prospective ship passengers in order to get home together with their families during Eid al-Fitr before the enactment of the ban on going home.

As reported by Antara, Wednesday, May 5, it was seen that thousands of potential passengers crowded the Nusantara Kendari Port from morning to evening to depart for their respective villages.

At the location, it was seen that the prospective passengers were so crowded, they were even willing to jostle to get on the ship for fear that if they could not board the ship they would not be able to return to their hometowns.

For the implementation of the health protocol, especially maintaining distance, it also seems that they are not being applied because they are jostling to enter the ship.

"I am afraid that I don't get on the ship, so if I don't get a seat, the important thing is I can go up," said Udi, one of the passengers who was about to sail to Raha.

Even though they did not get a seat, the prospective passengers were still trying to get into the ship. They are willing to stand at the top of the ship just so they can return to their hometowns.

Head of the Nusantara Kendari Port Terminal Post Andi Rady Kurniawan said that as many as three fast boat fleets were provided today with sailing trips starting in the morning at 07.30 WITA, then the second trip at 12.25 Wita and the third trip at 15.30 WITA.

"Currently, the passengers are denser than last year, maybe because of the influence of a circular stating that there is a ban on ships from leaving," he said.

His party claims that all passengers who enter the ship already have a ticket and also ensure that all passengers can leave to return to their hometowns.

"We have been tight, we can only see for ourselves what we were screaming like before. Indeed, for several years the passengers have been difficult, we have managed to die for several years. But we are trying to make people return, the passengers can be resolved," added Andi.
