Unlike Khofifah, This DPRD Member Is Worked On At The KPK Building Regarding The Bribery Of Grant Funds

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned Rudi Hartono, who is a member of the Pasuruan Regency DPRD today, July 8. He was worked on as a witness in the bribery case for grants for community groups (pokmas) from the East Java Regional Budget for the 2019-2022 period.

"The investigation was carried out at the KPK's Red and White building," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, July 9.

The KPK is known to continue to summon a number of witnesses in this case. One of them is the Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa who will be questioned tomorrow Thursday, July 10.

However, unlike Rudi, Khofifah was not examined at the KPK building. He will be questioned at the East Java Regional Police.

The KPK reasoned that the investigation was carried out in East Java because there was an investigation there. Budi in different statements denied any special treatment.

"In this case, we know that the team is also in parallel carrying out investigative activities in the East Java region," he said.

"(The decision on Khofifah's examination at the East Java Regional Police was taken, ed) from the coordination (results, ed) carried out. The essence is that the examination process can still be carried out effectively, investigators obtain information and information from witnesses in the examination," continued Budi.

Previously reported, the KPK again investigated the alleged bribery of grant funds for community groups or pokmas from the East Java Provincial Budget for the 2019-2022 Fiscal Year. 21 suspects have been determined from the development of the case.

In the process of running, a number of locations have been searched by investigators. Among them are the house of former DPD Chairman La Nyalla Mattalitti and the East Java Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) office.

In addition, the KPK has asked the Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) to prevent 21 people from leaving the country in this case. They are a case that is a state administrator or member of the East Java Provincial DPRD; AI, a member of the East Java Provincial DPRD; MAH, a member of the East Java Provincial DPRD; and AS a member of the East Java Provincial DPRD.

Then, also prevented by BW, JPP, HAS, SUK, AR, WK, AJ, MAS, AA, AYM, AH, RWS, MF, AM, and MM as private parties; FA as a member of the Sampang Regency DPRD; and JJ who is a state administrator or member of the Probolinggo Regency DPRD.
