Budget Realization Of The Ministry Of Transportation Reaches IDR 8.5 Trillion

Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Dudy Purwagandhi revealed that the budget realization of the Ministry of Transportation reached IDR 8.5 trillion in the first semester of 2025. This figure has not even reached 50 percent of the effective ceiling in 2025.

"The realization of the Ministry of Transportation's budget until July 2, 2025, amounted to Rp. 8.5 trillion or 32.36 percent of the 2025 effective ceiling of Rp. 26.29 trillion," he said in a working meeting with Commission V of the DPR, in Jakarta, written Wednesday, July 9.

Dudy said that the realization of the Ministry of Transportation's 2025 budget came from various sources, namely Rupiah Murni amounting to Rp5.58 trillion, Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) Rp1.09 trillion, State Sharia Securities Rp682.88 billion, Public Service Agency (BLU) Rp658.15 billion and Foreign Loans / Grants (PHLN) Rp489.75 billion.

"Meanwhile, as of July 2, 2025, Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) and the Ministry of Transportation's Public Service Agency (BLU) reached IDR 6.76 trillion or 60.20 percent of the 2025 target of IDR 12 trillion," he said.

In the meeting, Dudy also conveyed an indicative ceiling of the Ministry of Transportation in the 2026 budget year, amounting to IDR 24.4 trillion.

"The Ministry of Transportation is preparing various strategic programs to support national accessibility and ensure professional and sustainable transportation services," said Dudy.

Dudy said that in an effort to ensure the availability of affordable transportation services and ensure the safety of transportation throughout Indonesia, the Ministry of Transportation proposed an additional budget requirement of IDR 13.25 trillion.

"So the indicative ceiling now stands at IDR 24.4 trillion. There is a need that we prioritize very much of IDR 37.66 trillion. So there is a shortage of approximately IDR 13.25 trillion. This is what we will ask for additional," said Dudy.
