Sky Explorer: Mitsubishi Motors Collaboration, Garuda Indonesia, And Tahilalats Present Innovative Experiences From Air To Land
JAKARTA - In an innovative step that brings together the local automotive, aviation, and pop-cultural world, PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) officially announced a strategic collaboration with Garuda Indonesia and Tahilalats through the Sky Explorer campaign. This initiative is part of the launch strategy of the latest Mitsubishi Motors model, which runs across platforms from July to December 2025.
This synergy is not just an ordinary marketing campaign. Sky Explorer brings together the branding and storytelling power of three different sectors to create comprehensive experiences for consumers from air to land, while strengthening the image of Mitsubishi Motors as part of today's generation lifestyle.
"We are proud to be collaborating with Garuda Indonesia as a symbol of national pride and Tahilalats, the very popular creative IP of local pop-cultures. This collaboration is part of our strategy to introduce the latest Mitsubishi Motors model, not only as a vehicle, but as part of the lifestyle of today's dynamic generation," said PT MMKSI President Director Atsushi Kurita, through her statement, Wednesday, July 9.
Bringing Brands Closer To Creative Touch In The Sky
During the period July to September 2025, Garuda Indonesia passengers will be greeted with various visual elements from Sky Explorer starting from boarding passes, luggage tags, to paper glasses and head support covers with the theme Mitsubishi x Tahilalats. In fact, cabin announcements and content in the flight entertainment system will display promotional materials designed exclusively.
The August edition of Garuda Indonesia's Colours magazine will also contain a special article on the latest Mitsubishi Motors model, while booklets from collaboration with Tahilalats will be available on aircraft with the theme Sky Explorer and certain lounges of Garuda Indonesia.
"This partnership is an important momentum in showing how innovation in IP development through the launch of IP Sky Explorer can be an innovative promotional strategy. This collaboration strengthens the visibility and relevance of brands in the midst of dynamic markets," said President Director of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Wamildan Tsani.
