KPK Searches Crypto Assets For Suspects In ASDP Corruption Cases Through Examination Of PINTU Bosses
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating investments made by Adjie as a suspect in the corruption case of business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) 2019-2022. The entrepreneur is suspected of converting money from rasuah into crypto.
KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the deepening was carried out by examining the President Director of PT Pintu Kemata Saja (DOOR), Andrew Pascalis Addjiputro as a witness on Wednesday, June 25. Requests for information were made at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.
"Yes, it was investigated related to the purchase of cryptocurrency by Adjie at any door. It was investigated by related parties as well," Budi told reporters quoted on Tuesday, July 8.
In the future, Budi said, the KPK has the opportunity to confiscate the cryptocurrency. "We'll see if the assets are suspected to have come from the proceeds of a criminal act of corruption, the KPK will certainly confiscate them as part of asset recovery," he said.
The KPK previously also examined Kho Erniawan Edbert Hartana as a witness to investigate the purchase of crypto by Adjie. The request for information was carried out on Tuesday, July 1.
Kho Erniawan Edbert is called the anti-corruption commission as a private party. However, from various searches he is related to the DOOR.
PINTU is an all-in-one crypto application that has existed since April 2020 and has been officially registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and is a member of the CFX Crypto Exchange.
The DOOR through its official statement is committed to fully supporting the anti-corruption commission in resolving this case. They are ready to coordinate to provide the information needed.

Yoga also claimed that PINTU was not involved in the corruption case of PT ASDP which was estimated to have cost the state Rp893.16 billion.

Previously reported, the KPK named four suspects for alleged corruption in business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero).
They are former President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Ira Puspadewi; former Director of Planning and Development, Harry MAC; and former Commercial and Service Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Muhammad Yusuf Hadi; and Adjie as the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara.
In this case, the anti-corruption commission said the five suspects had harmed state finances amounting to Rp893,160,000,000. A number of frauds occurred in the SKU process and the acquisition, including a meeting between Ira, Yusuf, and Harry Muhammad to discuss the acquisition value.
The KPK said the final agreed value was Rp1,272 trillion. With details, Rp892 billion for the value of shares including the calculation of the value of 42 ships belonging to PT JN and Rp380 billion for the value of 11 affiliated ships PT JN and new management that will continue PT JN's debt.
