Former World Champion Ricky Hatton Rises Ring Again At The Age Of 46
JAKARTA Former world champion Ricky Hatton announced he would return to the ring at the age of 46 for the fight against Eisa Al Dah from the United Arab Emirates in December 2025.
The middleweight fight was announced during an event promoted by Al Dah in Dubai on Sunday, July 7, 2025. The clash is scheduled to take place on December 2, 2025, in Dubai.
Hatton, who won world titles in welterweight and lightweight welterweight, revealed that he was supposed to be in Dubai, but was unable to attend after accidentally injuring his eyes with glasses.
"I wish I could be there, but I suffered quite serious eye injuries. The most important thing is that the fight will take place and I can't wait, I'm looking forward to it," Hatton said.
