Nissan Starts Exporting Chinese-made Electric Cars Next Year, N7 Becomes First Model
JAKARTA - With the aim of fast business turnover, Nissan is rumored to be starting to export electric vehicles from its factories in China starting next year.
Based on a report from Carnewschina, quoted on Tuesday, July 8, Nissan's export destination covers Southeast Asia to the Middle East, unfortunately there are no details of the country being targeted.
It was also stated that the export of the Chinese-made electric vehicle aims to utilize this Japanese brand of full-sale service network that already exists in the overseas market. If you refer to Southeast Asia, it is likely that Indonesia will also become an export destination.
Later, the electric car scheduled for export will be N7 which is the first electric vehicle to be designed and developed in China, and produced at the Nissan plant in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province.

To bring the model to Nissan's global market, it is necessary to change some software specifications because it uses technology from Chinese companies, and there are restrictions on AI products made in China in several countries.
In order to develop software for the export market, Nissan has invested in IAT Automobile Technology, a developer from China.
Of course, it is worth waiting for a breakthrough from Nissan, especially for the Indonesian automotive market. Because, currently the national car market is starting to be enlivened by brands from China offering a myriad of innovations.
