Honor GT 2 And GT 2 Pro Specifications Leak Before Official Launch
JAKARTA - The latest information regarding the Honor GT 2 series has been widely circulated among technology enthusiasts. A trusted Digital Chat Station source reveals important details about the latest gaming smartphone from Honor, including chipsets, screen displays, and battery capacities to be offered.
The Honor GT 2 series is rumored to be present in two different variants. The standard variant is currently undergoing testing with two Qualcomm chipset options, namely Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and a new chip with the SM8845 code.
This latest chip is developed with the TSMC N3P 3nm process and uses the Oryon CPU architecture with a 2+6 core configuration. Its performance is called slightly below the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and it is reported that this chip will also be used on the Redmi K90.

For the Pro variant, Honor will certainly use the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 which is scheduled to be officially launched in September this year. Both models will be equipped with a 1.5K resolution 6.7-inch OLED screen with a flat design and a sturdy metal frame. The Pro variant is likely to add a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner feature as a differentiator.
In terms of battery life, Honor seems to be maintaining a large capacity strategy like in the previous generation which reached 7,200mAh. The combination of high capacity batteries and efficient chipsets is expected to provide a long-lasting use experience.
Although Honor has not announced an official launch date, it is estimated that the GT 2 series will begin to be marketed after the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 officially launches in September. This information certainly further strengthens Honor's position in the competition for high-end gaming smartphones
