The Governor Of Bali Admits That He Often Sends Photos Of Foreigners Who Violate The Health Protocol From The Minister
DENPASAR - Bali Governor Wayan Koster admitted that he often gets reports from the minister about foreigners who violate health protocols. The minister sent this photo and video report to Koster.
"To be honest, every time I have an incident in Bali that is committed by a foreign citizen, I always get photos or videos from ministers in Jakarta", said Koster, during a press conference at the regional office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in Bali, Wednesday, May 5.
"What is very concerned with the problems that exist in Bali, is related to the implementation of health protocols and also the same firm policy treatment towards citizens themselves and also foreign citizens", he continued.
Koster said he was warned not to allow foreign nationals to violate health protocols. There must be firm action against violations of the health protocols.
"I was warned not (because) acting as a foreign tourist to provide foreign exchange, then committing acts that violate the law that does not respect the applicable laws in Indonesian territory", said Koster.
He emphasized that everyone must adhere to health protocols and including the law in Indonesia. Koster warned foreign nationals not to act up.
"These are all lessons for us, not only for foreign nationals but for all parties who are part of tourism actors in Indonesia", he continued.
"Don't, we tolerate things like this which will only damage the order of our lives and also injure the dignity of our country as a sovereign state", said Koster.
