Iran Calls For China-Russia To Suppress US To Prevent Further Attacks
Iranian Ambassador to China, Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said China and Russia could persuade the United States to "comply with international law" and prevent potential further attacks by the US and Israel against Iran.
"Only by uniting and cooperating collectively, countries in the world can fight Washington's unilateral policies. We hope this happens before the United States or Israel decides to attack Iran again," said Rahmani Fazli on the sidelines of Beijing's 13th World Peace Forum. .
"Russia, China and Europe could play an important role in preventing this scenario (the new US attack on Iran)," he continued.
Rahmani Fazli also said Iran was always ready to welcome the offer for dialogue.
"However, the United States cannot be trusted. We welcome any country, particularly China or Russia, which can persuade the United States to comply with international law," said the diplomat.
Tehran also expressed its gratitude to the BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) for condemning attacks by the United States and Israel against Iran, unlike the United Nations (UN) and other international organizations, said Rahmani Fazli.
