Jakarta Is Raining Again, There Are Still 6 RTs Inundated In Floods

JAKARTA - A number of areas in Jakarta have been raining again since this evening. Meanwhile, a number of points in Jakarta are still flooded due to heavy rains and water shipments from upstream since Sunday, July 6.

As of 19.00 WIB, the DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) noted that 6 South Jakarta and West Jakarta RTs were flooded with water levels reaching 1.2 meters.

"BPBD noted that currently the inundation occurred in 6 RTs," said Head of BPBD DKI Jakarta Isnawa Adji in his statement, Monday, July 7.

In addition, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) issued an early warning for coastal flooding (rob) on July 04 - July 13, 2025 due to the maximum tide of sea water along with the Perigee and New Moon phases.

This has the potential to increase the maximum sea level in the northern coastal area of Jakarta and cause the Fish Market Sluice Gate to be on standby/Siaga 2 on Monday at 14.00 WIB, the Angke Hulu Alert Post/Alert 3 on Monday at 05.00 WIB, and the Upper Sunter Alert/Siaga 3 Monitoring Post on Monday at 14.00 WIB.

BPBD DKI Jakarta mobilizes personnel to monitor inundation conditions in each region and coordinate elements of the Natural Resources Service, Highways Office, Gulkarmat Service to carry out inundation suction and ensure that the water lines function properly together with the local village heads and sub-district heads and prepare basic needs for survivors.

"The inundation is targeted to recede in a short time. BPBD DKI urges the public to remain careful and alert to potential inundation," said Isnawa.

The details, the floods that hit 6 RTs are as follows: 1. South Jakarta there are 5 RTs consisting of: * Kel. Pondok Labu : 1 RT* Altitude: 120 cm* Causes: high rainfall and overflow Krukut River

* Kel. East Cilandak : 3 RT* Ketinggian: 40 to 90 cm* Penyebab: curah hujan tinggi dan luapan Kali Krukut

* Kel. West Cilandak : 1 RT* Altitude: 70 cm * Cause: High rainfall and overflow Krukut River

2. West Jakarta there is 1 RT consisting of: * Kel. Semanan : 1 RT* Altitude: 30 cm* Cause: High rainfall and overflow of Semanan River
