IIF Wins Two Awards At ABF Corporate & Investment Banking Awards 2025

JAKARTA - PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance (IIF) won two awards again at the Asian Banking & Finance (ABF) Corporate & Investment Banking Awards 2025. The awards won were Debt Deal of the Year and Innovative Deal of the Year.

These two awards were awarded for the success of IIF in issuing a Shelf Registered Bond II Phase II in 2024 worth IDR 1 trillion with a tenor of 10 years. The issuance of long-term bonds is a breakthrough in the national financial sector. IIF is listed as the only non-bank financial institution in Indonesia that will issue bonds with a tenor of 10 years in 2024.

This initiative is considered not only innovative in terms of funding structure, but also has a significant impact on cost efficiency and sustainable infrastructure project financing.

Some of the proceeds from the bond issuance are allocated for the affordable residential development project and the revitalization of Rawa Buntu Station in South Tangerang. The project includes the construction of three apartment towers with 1,816 residential units as well as public and commercial facilities, which directly contribute to the reduction of the national housing backlog.

IIF's Chief Investment Officer, M. Ramadhan Harahap (Idhan), said that these bonds were designed to strengthen the company's long-term financial sustainability and support the financing of viable infrastructure projects commercially and socially impacted.

"In the bookbuilding process, the bonds recorded an oversubscription rate of 2.2 times, showing high investor interest and trust in IIF," he said, in a written statement, Monday, July 7.

As an enabler in sustainable infrastructure development, the structure and use of bond funds is in line with the sustainability principles promoted by IIF.

"Every project that is financed must comply with a strict social and environmental framework, affirming IIF's commitment to supporting responsible infrastructure development and having a long-term impact," said Idhan.

Through the award received, IIF will continue to strengthen its position as a pioneer in innovation in national infrastructure financing. In the future, the company will continue to provide adaptive, competitive, and #DampakNata financing solutions for the people of Indonesia.
