Police Investigate Finding The Body Of A Doraemon Traditional Woman In Blitar

BLITAR - The Blitar Resort Police, East Java, investigated the discovery of the body of a woman with Doraemon tattoos in Popoh Village, Selopuro District, Blitar Regency.

Head of Public Relations of the Blitar Police, Ipda Pol. Putut Siswahyudi said that the discovery of the body was initially known by a resident named Sutiyah while sweeping his yard in Popoh Village, Selopuro District, Blitar.

"The witness found someone lying on the side of the road in front of his house. At first he thought he was a drunk person or a madman sleeping on the street, then called a neighbor to check it, after checking it turned out that the person was already dead," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 7.

He said residents then reported the findings to the Popoh Village apparatus and forwarded to the police for further handling.

The police who found the report went directly to the scene and conducted a crime scene (TKP). When found, the victim's position was on the back with his head pointing east to west. The officers also did not find any personal belongings of the victim or identity cards.

Meanwhile, from the results of the examination of the victim's body, it was found that the victim was a woman. When found, the victim wore a leaf green jacket, a neutral fibered shirt, blue dongker jeans.

"On the right wrist, the tattoo is a piece of fur, the left hand has a tattoo on the name Dita Okta, the right leg has Doraemon tattoos on the ankle," he said.

The police also conducted an examination and found the victim with the initials DTO (21), a resident of Purworejo Hamlet, Punjul Village, Plosoclaten District, Kediri Regency.

The police are currently still investigating this case by bringing in medical officers from Bhayangkara Hospital Kediri for an autopsy. The Blitar Police are also still waiting for the results of the examination.

In addition, the police have also asked for information from the family related to the deceased. This is an effort to uncover the case.

"We together with the apparatus and family witnessed the body at the hospital. We are still waiting for a team from Bhayangkara Hospital Kediri to do an autopsy to determine the cause of death of the victim," he said.
