2 Former Female Suspects In The Death Of Brigadier Nurhadi Detained By The NTB Police
West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police investigators detained two former officers with the initials Kompol Y and Ipda HC who were suspects in the case of the death of Brigadier MN alias Nurhadi.
"We are detained at Tahti Polda NTB for the first 20 days," said Head of Sub-Directorate III for Criminal Investigation of the NTB Police AKBP Catur Erwin Setiawan as reported by ANTARA, Monday, July 7.
He ensured that the detention of the two former Polri officers was carried out based on Detention Orders (Sphan) Number 81 and 82.
Investigators detained the former two superiors of Brigadier Nurhadi after conducting an examination as suspects. The detention of the two was carried out separately on the 2nd floor in room number 4 and 5.
"So, we detained the person concerned after the examination was finished, and went through a health test procedure. They were both in good health," he said.
Director of Detention and Evidence of the NTB Police, AKBP M. Rifai, confirmed the detention of two of the three suspects. He confirmed that the three suspects in this case were detained in different detention rooms.
"One person for one detention room," he said.
The three suspects in this case, apart from Kompol Y and Ipda HC, are women with the initials M who had already been detained at the NTB Police Detention Center.
In addition to detention, the progress of handling cases has now entered the stage of transferring files to the research prosecutor at the NTB Prosecutor's Office.
Director of Criminal Investigation at the NTB Police, Kombes Pol. Syarif Hidayat previously said investigators had found at least two pieces of evidence that corroborated the criminal acts of the three suspects related to allegations of abuse and negligence that resulted in the loss of the lives of others.
The evidence was obtained from the results of the examination of 18 witnesses and a number of experts. One of the things that corroborated the analysis of the forensic team which concluded that Brigadier MN died as a result of being strangled.
The analysis was obtained by a forensic team based on the results of an autopsy from the exhumation of the tomb of Brigadier MN in the Narmada area, West Lombok Regency.
With these results, investigators in the case file apply the suspicion of Article 351 paragraph (3) and/or Article 359 in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code.
