Bareskrim Will Hold Special Case For Jokowi's Diplomas 9 July

The Directorate of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri is said to be carrying out a special case title related to the alleged case of the 7th President's fake diploma, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), on Wednesday, July 9.

The news was conveyed by Roy Suryo's lawyer, Ahmad Khozinudin. His party will be present in the process of holding the special case.

"Currently, we are focusing on preparing ourselves for a special case that will be held on Wednesday at the Police Headquarters Wasidik Bureau," Ahmad told reporters, Monday, July 7.

The special case title process was scheduled for July 3. However, it was postponed due to a request for postponement from the Ulama Defenders Team and Activists (TPUA).

In the letter, TPUA asked the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police to involve several names in the process of holding the special case.

The names in question are the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM), the Indonesian Parliament, telematics expert Roy Suryo, and academic and alumni of Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar.

Previously, Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, also stated the same thing. It was stated that the Directorate of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri had accommodated the requests submitted by TPUA.

"The follow-up is to invite names in the involvement of the special case that was requested to be held to be held on the 9th because they must invite, ask to present the names requested," said Trunoyudo.

As a reminder, Bareskrim Polri emphasized that the certificate belonging to the 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is an original and valid document. This is based on the results of an in-depth investigation and forensic test.

"From all the results of the examination and forensic laboratory tests, we can conclude that Joko Widodo's diploma documents are genuine and legal," said the Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro.

Not only forensic tests, conclusions were drawn based on the results of the examination of dozens of witnesses, including from the reporting party or complainant, namely the Ulama Defenders Team and Activists (TPUA).

"We have examined 39 witnesses, including UGM, alumni, lecturers, high school, and one defendant, namely Joko Widodo," he said.
