Cimahi Police Arrest 13 Members Of The Youth Stab Motorcycle Gang
CimaHI - The Cimahi Resort Police arrested 13 perpetrators of the beatings affiliated with motorcycle gangs after carrying out a stabbing on Jalan Pojok, Cimahi City, West Java.
Cimahi Police Chief, AKBP Niko Nurallah Adi Putra said that in the incident a young man with the initials Z became a victim with four stab wounds to his head and back that penetrated his lungs.
"We revealed the incident that occurred on June 28 in the morning on Jalan Pojok, behind Cimol. The perpetrator injured the victim with the initials Z with four serious stab wounds," Niko said in Cimahi, Monday, July 7, as reported by ANTARA.
Niko revealed that the arrests of the perpetrators were carried out in less than 48 hours after the incident. Of the total 13 people who were arrested, nine of them were still students.
The perpetrators were arrested in a number of locations, namely in Cimahi, Bandung, and Garut. Based on the results of the examination, their actions were carried out randomly to show the existence of their motorcycle gangs.
"The victim was randomly selected, immediately injured. The weapon was ignored to show their identity, that they were brave. If the victim did not leave, he would be immediately injured," he said.
From the results of the investigation, it was known that the three perpetrators were adults, each with the initials L, R, and M. The three of them invited the children to gather, then provoked them to commit violence in groups.
Niko emphasized that the legal process against all suspects would continue even though the majority were still minors.
Efforts to be converted to 10 children have been carried out, but have not yielded results. Therefore, the criminal process continues according to the procedural law of the child. They remain responsible for their actions," he said.
For their actions, the perpetrators were subject to Article 170 Paragraph 2 of the 2nd Criminal Code concerning beatings that resulted in serious injuries, with the threat of imprisonment of up to nine years.
