Plays Superman, David Corenswet Doesn't Get Special Messages From Henry Cavill And Tyler Hoechlin

JAKARTA - David Corenswet admitted that he could not get a special message from the previous Superman actor. Even though he had asked for advice, he did not receive any messages.

Corenswet revealed that he had contacted Henry Cavill and Tyler Hoechlin who played Superman in the films Man of Steel and Superman & Lois. Both support Corenswet, but they don't want to influence Corenswet in showing his side to Superman.

"Interestingly, the two of them said something 'I don't want to try giving you tips'", David Corenswet quoted Variety as saying.

"And that's a very Superman thing. Superman doesn't really give advice or dictate how other people behave," he said.

David Corenswet explained that he received sufficient support from the two actors to play this film. As a result, viewers do not need to compare the performance of Corenswet with that of its predecessor.

"They really just send support and trust for fun that I think is also the way of a Superman. They are very supportive and we have a fun experience," said David Corenswet.

"I'm excited to meet them one day. It feels great if we can be together in a room," he continued.

Superman's film marks the new era of DC under the leadership of James Gunn. Apart from Corenswet, this film also stars Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Nathan Fillion,tan Gabriela de Far total, Skyer Gisondo, and Badminton Merced.

Superman will premiere in Indonesia starting July 9.
