The 2025 President's Cup Standings After Oxford United Wins And Persib Loses

JAKARTA - The 2025 President's Cup will start on July 6, 2025. The opening match features Indonesia All Star vs Oxford United and Persib Bandung vs Port FC.

Oxford United in their inaugural match managed to beat Indonesia All Star with a final score of 6-3. In the match which took place at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta, the star of the England team's victory was Mark Harris who scored two goals.

In addition, four Oxford United goals were contributed by Michael Helik, Tom Bradhshaw, Przemyslaw Placheta, and Brian De Keersmaecker.

In the opposing camp, Indonesia All Star scored three goals from Riko Simanjuntak, Rizki Dwi, and Exel Joseph Runtuahu.

The victory that Oxford United secured in this inaugural match made them now lead the Group A standings with three points. Oxford also increased the chances of qualifying for the next round.

After facing the Indonesia All Star, Oxford will face Arema FC. This duel was held on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium at 19.30 WIB.

Meanwhile, in the Group B match which was held on the same day, Persib Bandung faced a team from Thailand, Port FC. In the match which took place at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung, the host lost 0-2.

The port FC, which was strengthened by Asnawi Mangkualam, was able to win through Bordin Phala's goal during the first-half injury time and the penalty goal for Peruradol Chamrasamee in the second half. In this match, Asnawi also contributed to the creation of a penalty for the second goal.

With this defeat, Persib is temporarily at the bottom of the standings. They must be able to beat Dewa United Banten FC to be able to revive their chances of qualifying for the next round.
