Mark Wahlberg Will Producer Manny Pacquiao's Second Biographic Film
JAKARTA The legendary Filipino boxer, Manny Pacquiao plans to make his second biographical film. And to make that idea happen, Pacquiao asked Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg to become a producer.
The boxing legend, nicknamed Pacman, made a biographical film in 2006. The film, entitled Pacquiao: The Movie, was released on June 21, 2006. Under the direction of the director from the Philippines, Joel Lamangan with the main character also from the Philippines, totaling Rosales, the film fell off the market.
That failure made Pacquiao curious. So he immediately visited America for the production of his second biographical film, as well as appointed Wahlberg as producer.
Mark always came and watched my training at the Los Angeles Wildcard Gym. He followed and knew almost all the stories of my life. He's a good friend," Pacquiao said, quoted by Philstar.
