Honor X70 Bocor: Usung Battery Jumbo 8300mAh, Support Filling Cables And 80W Wireless

JAKARTA - HONOR seems to be preparing to launch a successor to their X60 series, the Honor X70, which is rumored to be coming with a significant increase, especially on the battery side and charging technology. The latest leak shared by popular tips "Panda is Bald" on the Weibo platform has revealed a number of interesting details about the specifications of this device.

The Honor X70 is said to be carrying a 6.79-inch flat screen with a 1.5K resolution, slightly larger than the 6.78-inch AMOLED panel used in the X60 Pro last year. However, the type of screen technology and refresh rate used in the leak has not been revealed.

In the kitchen runway sector, Honor X70 is rumored to be using Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, replacing the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 used in the X60 Pro. This indicates a promising performance improvement for the middle class.

Monster Battery 8300mAh And 80W Power Filling

The most striking update of the Honor X70 lies in its battery capacity which reaches 8300mAh, much larger than the 6600mAh battery used in the X60 Pro. In addition, this device will also support 80W fast charging, both via cables and wireless (wireless charging), although this wireless feature is only available on the 512GB variant.

The variant will also have a slightly thicker and heavier body, which is 7.9 mm with a weight of 199 grams, compared to the standard version which only has a thickness of 7.7 mm and a weight of 193 grams.

According to the same leak, Honor X70 will be available in three color variants, namely white, blue, and black. Unfortunately, no information has been leaked regarding the configuration of this device's camera, RAM, or official price.

However, when referring to the launch price of Honor X60 last year, the standard model is priced starting from 1,199 yuan, while the Pro version is sold at a price of 1,499 yuan. Thus, Honor X70 will most likely remain in the mid-range segment with a focus on value for money.

Honor X60 was previously launched in October 2024. Given that various leaks regarding X70 have started to emerge and have now entered July, the official launch of Honor X70 is predicted to be announced in the near future.

With the specifications being carried, especially the super-large battery capacity and fast charging support in both methods (wires and wireless), the Honor X70 is expected to be one of the most attractive smartphones in the middle class of the year.
