At The End Of The Last Week Of School Holidays, Passengers Who Have Experienced A Drastic Surge

JAKARTA - The number ofPORT passengers has experienced another spike entering the last week of the school holiday period. Since last Friday (04/07/2025), KCIC has served around 23,282 passengers per day.

"Looking at the data for the school holiday period, this Saturday - Sunday can be said to be the last weekend of the holiday season, because some schools have started to enter starting on July 9, 2025," said General Manager Corporate Secretary of KCIC Eva Chairunisa in her statement, Sunday (06/07/2025).

Eva further said that the daily average ofPORTed passengers in July reached 19 to 23 thousand passengers per day. It increased by about 20 percent compared to normal days.

"Many people use it to travel with their families usingASH. For Saturday (5/7) departure, it is predicted that the number of passengers will exceed 21 thousand," he said.

The people's favorite routes are still dominated by the Halim 'Padalarang and Halim' Tegalluar Summarecon relations. Departure hours in the morning from 07.00 to evening at 15.00 WIB.

"KCIC urges ticket purchases to be made through online transactions to avoid the risk of running out of tickets or queues of counters," he said.
