Entering Generation, G-Pluck Celebrates The Beatles Music Heritage At Indonesia Tribute Time Concert

JAKARTA - At that time, Indonesia Tribute had completed a concert titled Tribute to The Beatles: Across The Universe, Across The Generation at the Jakarta International Velodrome, Saturday, July 5 last night. G-Pluck as the main star appeared to perform more than 40 songs for three hours.

The show is divided into three sessions, taking into account the phase of the Beatles' journey, namely the Mop Tops and 1966 Era, Psychedelic Era, and the Late Beatles Era.

In the first session, G-Pluck consisting of Awan Garnida (Paul McCartney), Gilang Pramudya (John Lennon), Fery Gustian ( way Harrison) appeared in a black suit, similar to the early description of The Beatles.

G-Pluck opened the first session with 'I Want to Hold Your Hand', the iconic single of The Fab Four in 1963. Next, She Loves You, Love Me Do, And I Love Her, and Im Happy Just to Dance with You were brought in a row.

For the first session, 19 songs were performed, starting from the debut album 'Please Please Me' (1963) to the album 'Revolver' (1966).

Before continuing to the next session, Psychedelic Era, G-Pluck personnel left the stage for a moment, and returned with a different look.

"Now we are entering into the next phase, with these colorful clothes," said Awan.

In accordance with the title of the second session, G-Pluck performed eight psychedelic Beatles songs, including Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, A Day in the Life, Strawberry Fields Forever, Penny Lane, I Am the Walrus, Yellow Submarine, to All You Need Is Love.

The second session closed with Hey Jude, which made thousands of viewers across generations unable to hold back from singing.

G-Pluck returned to the back stage to prepare for the third session. They appeared again in front of the audience with a different look. This time, the figure of Yoko Ono appeared on stage.

The third session started with performing a Revolution', a song created by Lennon and McCartney for The White Album (1968). They continued this session with Come Together, Something, Here Comes the Sun, and BeCAUSE.

"We rarely present this song, but because it's a special moment, so we bring it up," said Awan before bringing 'BeCAUSE'.

G-Pluck also features a special repertoire when performing medley songs from the album Abbey Road (1969), whose album cover is very popular and has been imitated a lot.

"We want to thank everyone who is here," said Awan.

At the end of the show, the atmosphere of the show has not yet subsided. Spectators who almost filled the entire maskh chair continued to sing as G-Pluck brought Across the Universe, The Long and Winding Road, Let It Be, The Ballad of John and Yoko, and Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da.

Hello Goodbye is the last song to be shown. Different from the previous one, some of the audience stood from where they sat and chose to enjoy the closing song closer to the stage.
