The Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia Holds A Media Gathering Entitled 'Indonesia Towards The 2021 Olympics'
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenpora RI) through the Bureau of Public Relations (Humas) and Law held a Media Gathering with the theme 'Indonesia Towards the 2021 Tokyo Olympics' at the Grand Mercure Hotel Jakarta Harmoni, Tuesday, May 4.
The Head of the Organizing Committee who is also the Head of the Public Relations Division of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Abdul Muslimin, said that based on the direction of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Zainudin Amali, this activity was not only carried out once. But it was done several times according to the Kemenpora sports event.
"In his direction, activities like this are not only carried out once. But they will also be carried out several times in the future, especially those related to the Kemenpora event calendar", said Abdul Muslimin.
"Hopefully we will cultivate this kind of activity. In the future it can be done at the Media Center of the Ministry of Youth and Sports", he said.
Meanwhile, Head of Public Relations and Law Bureau Drs. Sanusi, SH representing the Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Sesmenpora) Gatot. S Dewa Broto officially opened this event. On this occasion, Sanusi conveyed that the media gathering was an annual routine held by the Law and Public Relations Bureau.
"The more we meet, the more inspiration, and we can synergize better in the future", he said.
According to him, according to the Main Duties and Functions (Tupoksi), the public relations department has direct contact with the media as Kemenpora partners in terms of publication and news. So that this activity is expected to create collaboration.
"This activity aims to be a forum for discussion, gathering aspirations and conveying suggestions and input between the Public Relations of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and journalists. So that there will be collaboration and coordination that is effective and makes it easier for each other to carry out our duties", he said.
This activity was filled with a panel discussion presenting speakers including the President of the Indonesian Olympic Committee (NOC Indonesia) Raja Sapta Oktohari who spoke about 'Readiness and Opportunities for Indonesian Contingent Achievement Towards the 2021 Tokyo Olympics'.
In addition, there was also the Deputy for Improving Sports Achievement, Chandra Bhakti, who spoke about Target and Government Support for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. This event was attended by dozens of national media, both print, online, and television media.
