Menbud Wants CHANDI Summit 2025 To Become A Reproduction Event For Indonesian Culture To The World
JAKARTA - Minister of Culture Fadli Zon reiterated his commitment to advancing Indonesia's national culture, as stated in Article 32 paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.
By announcing the holding of the 2025 CPANDI Summit which will take place in Bali on September 3-5, Fadli said this event was an opportunity for Indonesia to introduce its culture to the world.
"This is also an opportunity for Indonesia, to reproduce our cultural wealth and our civilization to the world," said Fadli after the 2025 Embassy in the 2025 CMI Summit at the National Museum of Indonesia, Central Jakarta, Friday, July 4.
CHANDI Summit acronym of culture, heritage, arts, Narrative, diplomacy, innovation (culture, heritage, arts, narrative, diplomacy, innovation) is a world cultural forum, where leaders and stakeholders will cross each other.
In its implementation there will be exhibitions, performances, and other events where Indonesian culture can be shown to the world.
Kita berharap dengan adanya CHANDI Summit ini bisa menjadi pertemuan dari berbagai macam stakeholders, dari pemerintah, Kementerian Kebudayaan, NGO kebudayaan, dan juga individual, para artis, dan juga para pegiat kebudayaan dari berbagai bidang baik yang tradisi sampai yang ke kontemporan, dan yang tangible sampai yang tertanggible, ujar Fadli.

The Minister of Culture said that his party had communicated with many countries and asked for their involvement in this event.
"Informally, of course, we have conveyed this also in several international forums that we attended, and we have conveyed it. And they are also certainly very enthusiastic and will send delegates, representatives, or directly attended by the Minister of Culture from their respective countries," he said.
Considering that this year's CHANDI Summit is Fadli's first opportunity since he was appointed as Minister of Culture, he expressed his hope that this event could be held continuously.
"Maybe in the future it can be held in other cities, in other provinces, and that's the plan," he concluded.
