RKP 2026 Is An Important Guide To Maintain National Development Direction

JAKARTA - Minister of National Development Planning/Head of the National Development Planning Agency (PPN/Bappenas) Rachmat Pambudy emphasized that the Government Work Plan (RKP) 2026 is an important guide to maintaining the direction of national development in a global situation full of uncertainty.

According to him, global challenges and inequality between regions can only be overcome through comprehensive transformation and cross-sectoral collaboration.

"The strategy of the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas is to ensure a comprehensive transformation, from social, economic, to governance, so that we are able to face global dynamics and continue to grow inclusively and sustainably," he said as stated in an official statement, Jakarta, Friday.

The theme of the 2026 RKP focuses on food and energy sovereignty, as well as strengthening a productive and inclusive economy as the foundation for realizing the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045.

The direction of RKP 2026 development is focused on strengthening regional economic foundations, empowering rural communities, and providing equal access to basic services.

A number of priority programs such as housing development, digitizing education, and reducing integrated poverty, are said to be the driving force for social and economic transformation.

These various targets are in accordance with the development trident in the 2026 RKP, namely high economic and quality human resources, poverty reduction, and superior human resource increase as the foundation towards Indonesia Gold 2045.

"The 2026 RKP also carries the principle of total inclusiveness, which ensures that all citizens, including vulnerable groups, benefit from development," said the Head of Bappenas.

Furthermore, Rachmat Pambudy emphasized the urgency of the involvement of all parties in carrying out the 2026 RKP as a whole which must be translated into policies at every level.

"We want to ensure that priority programs are really present in the community as real actions that touch the citizens, open up opportunities, and improve the future of Indonesian children. That is the essence of development that is affected, raised, and closest, which presents the face of our nationality," said the Minister of VAT.
