Google Promises AI Video Maker's Veo 3 Model Security

JAKARTA Google has expanded Veo 3, a video-making model based on Artificial Intelligence (AI), in Indonesia. In line with the expansion of this AI model, Google promises its security.

Since Veo 3 was introduced to the Google I/O 2025 event, this AI model has been widely discussed on social media. The reason is, Veo 3 has succeeded in making realistic videos and in accordance with the prompt or text commands submitted by its users.

Veo 3's popularity has worried some. Not a few suspect that realistic AI videos can be used irresponsibly, for example, in the making of deepfake videos.

Google is aware of this concern. To maintain Veo 3 quality and safety, Google stated that they will continue to regularly test and evaluate Veo 3. They have also strengthened the rules for creating harmful content.

"We always ensure that the use of AI in the process of making videos remains safe and responsible. This includes conducting various rigorous tests and periodic evaluations," Google said in a statement received by VOI on Friday, July 4.

Google explains that they also have special guidelines that can prevent inappropriate content creation. In addition, to clarify AI-made content, Google will add watermarks automatically.

"Every video you make from the photo will be automatically given a watermark or a special sign, both visible and hidden using Synthed technology, as an indication that the video was made by AI," Google explained.
