Anthony Joshua Ancang-Ancang Kembali Naik Ring
JAKARTA The former two-time world champion, Anthony Joshua, is preparing to return to boxing after taking the necessary rest time after his last defeat last year.
Joshua had his last fight against Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium, London, in September 2024. He lost badly in the fifth round and had not yet dueled again after that.
He picked up an arm injury after that and took a break from the ring for the first time since he became a professional boxer in October 2013, a year after he won a gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics.
"What I've done is I took a leave for the first year in 12 or 13 years as a professional and even amateur to improve my body," said Joshua.

Joshua has previously expressed plans to fight his compatriot, Tyson Fury, in this year's calendar. However, these clashes are still a discourse.
Fury has also decided to retire, but most recently he wants to return for a trilogy against Oleksandr Usyk who gave him two consecutive defeats last year.
Joshua said that currently his career is in a different stage and he is thinking about his best plans to come back later.
"So, when I come back, you know I will come back hard, instead of continuing to retreat. I will come back in a completely active condition and ready to leave," he said.
Anthony Joshua has had a total of 32 fights in his professional career. Of that number, he won 28 times and lost four.
