More Interested, 2.31 Million Users Ride The Jabodebek LRT In June

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI noted that public interest in public transportation continues to grow, including in the Jabodebek LRT service. This is reflected in 2,312,605 users who used the Jabodebek LRT service during June 2025.

The Executive Vice President of the Jabodebek LRT, Mochamad Purnomosidi said that this figure showed an increase compared to May which was recorded as 2,293,124 users.

"At the same time, it reflects the increasing public trust in the Jabodebek LRT service," he said in an official statement, Friday, July 4.

Purnomosidi said the increase in the number of users was also reflected in daily activities. The average daily user on weekdays reached 99,310 users, while on weekends there were 43,752 users per day.

"This data shows that the Jabodebek LRT is widely used, both for routine needs and weekend activities," he explained.

The three stations with the highest number of users during June 2025, namely Dukuh Atas BNI Station with 364,704 tap-in users and 333,578 tap-out users. Then, Harjamukti Station with 268,356 tap-in users and 272,408 tap-out users. Also, Kuningan Station with 209,687 tap-in and 199,621 tap-out users

During June, the Jabodebek LRT operated 10,188 trips. The level of timeliness (On Time Performance) is also very high, namely 99.88 percent strengthening public confidence in reliable and efficient services," he said.

In addition, in June an endurance trial was also conducted on Trainset 20, as part of a technical testing process to support the operational readiness of additional fleets going forward.

Purnomosidi expressed his gratitude for the growing public trust in public transportation modes, especially the Jabodebek LRT.

We are grateful to see more and more people using public transportation, including the Jabodebek LRT. We will continue to listen to user input and present various innovations to increase the comfort and reliability of the service," he said.

Purnomosidi also said that with the support of various parties and a commitment to sustainable improvement, the Jabodebek LRT is optimistic that it can continue to be part of the transportation service of the mobility system in the Jabodebek area.
