Fly Jaya Airline Officially Opens Halim-Adisutjipto Yogyakarta Route, Close To City Center
YOGYAKARTA - Fly Jaya airline officially opened a new route connecting Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Jakarta, with Yogyakarta Adisutjipto Airport starting Thursday (3/7/2025). This route is served using the ATR 72 fleet, an efficient turboprop aircraft suitable for short distances.
FlyJaya Airline Chief Commercial Officer, Ary Mercyanto, emphasized the company's commitment to providing comfortable, fast, and affordable air access. As a low-cost airline (LCC), FlyJaya still prioritizes the best service for passengers.
"This is the first step for FlyJaya to bring better connectivity in Indonesia, especially to strategic cities such as Yogyakarta," said Ary Thursday (3/7).
The choice of Adisutjipto Airport as the main destination is not without reason. The location is closer to the center of Yogyakarta than YIA Airport. This is an advantage for passengers who want faster and more practical mobility.
