Investasi Industri Mamin Capai Rp22,63 Triliun Hingga Kuartal I-2025
The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) noted that investment in the food and beverage industry (Mamin) until the first quarter of 2025 reached IDR 22.63 trillion, showing high interest in the sector.
"In the first quarter of 2025, investment realization has reached IDR 22.63 trillion. This shows that investor confidence is getting higher in the potential of the Indonesian food and beverage industry," said Deputy Minister of Industry (Wamenperin) Faisol Riza in a written statement, Thursday, July 3.
Faisol added, in terms of foreign trade, the Mamin industry also managed to maintain a trade balance surplus of USD 8.67 billion with an export value of USD 11.78 billion during January-February 2025.
"The food and beverage industry continues to make a significant contribution to the Indonesian economy," he said.
Meanwhile, in the first quarter of 2025, the sector's contribution reached 41.15 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) in terms of the non-oil and gas processing industry and 7.2 percent of the national GDP.
"The food and beverage sector continues to show a positive growth trend with a growth realization of 6.04 percent (yoy) in the first quarter of 2025," said Faisol.
According to Faisol, Indonesia has a comparative advantage in developing the food and beverage industry thanks to the diversity of biological resources.
"The source of power was developed into a high added value product with an export orientation," he explained.

The number of sub-sectors of the food and beverage industry recorded brilliant performances, including the cocoa processing industry which currently places Indonesia as the fourth largest processed cocoa product producer in the world with an export value of more than 2.4 billion US dollars and an export volume of 304,000 tons throughout 2024.
Furthermore, the tea processing industry made exports of 36,738 tons or 59.24 million US dollars.
In addition, the fruit processing industry also has great potential with the export achievement of 402 million tons or around 510 million US dollars.
"The coffee industry is also growing rapidly. Indonesia has exported 196,875 tons of processed coffee worth US$661.9 million in 2024," said Faisol.
As for the dairy processing industry, the export value was recorded at USD 233.5 million in 2024, up from USD 230 million in 2023.
