AGO Auctions Doni Salmanan's House Rp3.5 Billion

JAKARTA - The Asset Recovery Agency (BPA) of the Attorney General's Office managed to auction off the assets of the house of the convict in the case of fraudulent investment in binary options and money laundering, Doni Salmanan, for IDR 3.5 billion.

"The auction objects that were successfully auctioned were one plot of land and/or building in Soreang Village, Soreang District, Bandung Regency, West Java," said Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office, Harli Siregar, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, July 3.

Harli lembangkan luas tanah yang dilelang seluas 400 meter persegi dan luas bangunan seluas 600 meter persegi. Nilai limit yang ditentukan pada aset Doni Salmanan tersebut senilai Rp3,527,080,000. Dan terjual dengan nilai yang sama.

Lelang tersebut dilaksanakan melalui mekanisme pelelangan secaraonlinedengan sistem penawaran secara tertulis tanpa kehadiran peserta(e-Auction/open bidding)melalui situs resmi Direktorat Jenderal Kekayaan Negara Kementerian Keuanganhttps://lelang.go.id.

The auction is part of assistance in the settlement of assets of the Bandung District Attorney's Office in criminal cases intentionally and without the right to spread false news and misleading results in consumer losses in electronic transactions and money laundering crimes.

For information, Doni Salmanan was sentenced to 4 years in prison by the Bale Bandung District Court for being found guilty in a case of fraudulent investment in binary options through the Quotex application.

Then, the Bandung High Court increased the decision to 8 years in prison.

A number of assets belonging to Doni Salmanan, including luxury vehicles, house certificates, cell phones, luxury clothes, and money totaling billions of rupiah were confiscated for the state.
