Desperate To Go Home And Use Fake Documents, The Police: Definitely Convicted

JAKARTA - The head of the Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) of the National Police, Inspector General Istioni, said that he would supervise all community activities related to Eid homecoming. In fact, if there are people who are stubborn using fake documents, they will be given criminal sanctions.

"If there are fake documents, it is criminal," said Inspector General Istiono to reporters, Wednesday, May 5.

The fake documents referred to include, among other things, the results of the swab tests and certificates or reasons for returning to their hometowns.

Meanwhile, people who are still desperate to go home without any good reason will be asked to turn back to the starting place.

"If there is someone who is determined to go back and forth, but if there is special information from the village and the result is negative, then they are allowed to travel and will be considered for going home," said Istiono.

Istiono also said that if the passenger shows a suspicious physical condition in a vehicle, then an antigen test swab will be carried out. If the result is positive, action will be taken immediately according to the rules.

"If the result is positive, it is advisable to self-isolate at the nearest hospital," he said.

Previously it was reported that the National Police had added 48 insulating points for the prohibition of the 2021 Eid homecoming homecoming along Lampung to Bali. To date, a total of 381 isolation points are recorded.

"Yes (there are additions) so_381 points (insulation)," said the Traffic Police Head of Police Inspector General Istiono to reporters, Tuesday, May 4.

The increase in the number of insulating points, said Istiono, is so that there will be no gaps for stubborn people to keep returning to their hometowns.

In addition, other goals are also to prevent and minimize the spread of COVID-19.

"Mobilization management is related to anticipating the spread of COVID-19 so that it is more controlled," he said.
